Don't let them take your smile

By ColorMeToxic

They may share your name
though they don't deserve to,

but they're
NOT
the same,

and they
DON'T
deserve you.

You have a right to blame,
if you feel the need to...

May they experience shame,
because of how they've hurt you.

I love the symmetry of this, the structure. Perfect in its simplicity.

Beth - so good to see you back in action, you have been missed. This is right on-target for me with some recent family cat fights concerning who's coming to my youngest daughter's wedding - cheers!
