Windy Day

By lupus tenebrae

That's just like you;
to kill the lights,
timidly bear your fangs,
jostle a few branches
out of place,

only to leave

a rainbow as a
half-hearted apology:
something to cherish
in the still, Spring morning
after you'd finally gone.
