Sunday afternoons at 20 Maresfield Gardens

By TropicalSnowstorm

Not everything
is sexual.

Sometimes

a lion is just hungry.
Without trace of
Oedipal
motive it licks bones.

You scream

it yawns.

yes, maybe just maybe the lion was more interested in that yummy marrow inside the boner than the girl screaming....

I was excited at the mere prospect of having you enter this contest, because I knew the end result would be something worth waiting for. Summer's piece was amazing in its own right, but yours was the closest to what I had in mind. You took this foreign (sometimes irritating) style of mine and made it your own, I expected no less. To be honest, I knew from the start that there wouldn't be many entrants, but to see that my contest had yielded the artistry that it did more than makes up for my previous disappointment. So, congratulations, you've certainly earned the accolades. Scholar

You developed a very cool style, as you say, with "endless possibilities". I love it! The Lupus Teleform will definitely be revisited. : ) Ciao, T/S Scholar

Love the animalistic qualities used to illustrate primal instinct. Very provocative; the punctuation compliments the precision of your syntax. 10! Scholar
