out on. broken piers.
I remembered your words-
and the rain
it came down.
so I thought
that you lived inside of
raindrops.
falling like regret
when the clouds forget
that silver is the color
of promise.
and your words.
bl.ink and white hearts
like love found a reason
to be scared.
so I shiver. in presence
of thought.
you're still falling all
around me.
and out on broken piers.
my hair is wet.
I could get lost- counting
splash after splash of water
meeting salt.
and feeling you. soak
through my skin.
now that-
.that's the kind of lost
I could get used to.

great write here man, the gaps between byour works are longer at moment but the precision is still there, to get straight to teh point and create a scene with just the right words for full effect that the reader has to do less work to become emerged in your words, i can only mention that it was a pleasure to read, like the uplifting emotional moment at the climax of a ten minute instrumental

this is pure beauty..."when the clouds forget that silver is the color of promise"- so poeticly softt, this whole piece truly speaks to the heart. You paint 'getting lost' as a painfully beautiful journey that would be hard to resist going on.
