Spring Thaw

By lupus tenebrae

The snowmelt of Spring, last year,
still lingers, bare,
...

as a mystery
catching
this last, winter embrace

red
...
handing all heartstrings
over to me

and with an absent minded end,
lending them to Father Time
who borrows, in eternities.
