CHILDKILLER!!!

By Winter Born

A boy,
Far too young.
Blinded by the hate of his parents.
Decieved by the wrongful teachings
Of a beautiful religeon.

A smile on his face.
A vest on his chest
the gate of his enemy,
Dead ahead

the shouts of the soldier,
The screams of the workers
...

The pain.
The dirt in his face
A soldiers dirty sweating face
Swearing while he works
To tie off the leg
To stop the bleeding
(gods! please stop this blood!)
Darkness.

The sound of an engine
That same soldier
holding wrapped belt tight.
Smile.
Darkness.

the dreams come back
Over and Over
Again and again
I hear the shot.
I see the blood
My belt wraped so tight
Around the mangled stump
that used to be this childs leg

that smile...
I will NEVER
EVER
forget that smile
As the lights in his eyes
turned off.

That shot
That single round
Saved 30 people that hot summer day...

But it destroyed a future
You call me a
CHILDKILLER!!!
like anything you say
Could possibly
EVER
Hurt me more
Than I do
EVERYDAY...

God, this is so realistically terrible. I have a friend going into the army, and I worry.

I know I shouldn't have done it. but. you should know what you're gettin into. I don't blame your response to this. and what you all go through in a day is disgusting, especially when the population call you heros. Like it was in 1941. You are shoved into a situation where immoral activity is normal. I can't be forgiven. so don't.

.. yea was thinking that along the way, the sides in any war get wraped up in a thousand happenings and words, that works to confuse some very simple facts about conflicts. Shit that goes on in the schoolyard or kindergarden in every country, but also on a massive scale in wars. It is dumb and simple conflicts in the kindergarden, and it is a thousand times more insultingly dumb on a massive scale in war. Now question is, when will people realy be fed up with being talked down to? Every journalist today buys into the lingo being offered by the general public. They use the words that works in an ongoing consensus. Yet we all know what happended when we did not shut up for a moment in school right? If we kept refering to a past wrong doing, and focused on all the obstacles in the way of ending the conflict. "He stole my cookie! He will do it again!" .. Excalation. Get the fuck over it. The important matter is simple. If the kid steals our cookie again, how will we react? Will we smash all of the windows in the house next door again, kick the random cat on our way and cry that it is justified, or be reasonable and look at the options. I can tell you, if the cry babies in question does not soon shut up, everyone is going for those cookies soon enough(Aimed that the armies/sides, not a single persona).

It is so sad that we can not end the pain and suffering, ...that beliefs and politics have continued to put children in harms way. I can not help but to remember my father telling me how he'd be ready to fire on our own civilians after training.
