i wish i could dance

i wish i could dance
to the tune of haunting pianos
grasp your mind with my movements
and force you into a trance.

then forever you'd be mine
you'd sew me sleeves of heartbeats
because i am the epitome of grace
and all others are swine.

there is nothing more you could want
than an embittered queen
someone who loves you with past regrets
and who loves to flirt and flaunt.

you will never have anyone more forgiving
than me and my friends of favor
because no matter who you try to tell
you will continue a dedicated living.

i wish i could dance.
maybe then i'd have power over you
maybe then you'd love me.

it doesn't have to be real
as long as you look into my eyes
when you lie to my face.

as long as you keep telling my truth
we should be fine.

i wish i could dance
to the tune of haunting painos.

maybe then i'd be beautiful enough.
