Turbulence

By ColorMeToxic

Am I everything  you had dreamt I'd be?
More than anything are you proud of me?
Do you know how much I miss you still?
How much life just sucks without you here.
~
I miss you

I don't know why
I can't get past  it.

It's been a long time
since it happened...

The wounds seem fresh,
they seem so close...

the surface of my psyche
wounded and exposed.

I miss you (and it shows)

I can't stop
getting emotional

when I think of you
when I speak of you
when I dream of you

I miss you.
I miss you.
I miss you so bad.

I wish the you I see
in my dreams
could make up for that.

But it never will...
in reality I must live...
But I miss you still.
