Letting go

By ColorMeToxic

The silver in your hair
and the lines on your face,
are the only two things
that gave your age away.
You were youthful in spirit
until the day that you died,
I looked up to you...
you were always so kind.
I miss you still,
though it's been
seven years
since you died.
I love you my papaw,
I'm saying goodbye.
