To the one I still love,

By ColorMeToxic

I never told you this before,
But you saved my life.

You gave me  reason to wake up
When I thought I was done.

You made me want to live,
You even made  me smile

You were the saving grace
Of another wounded child

You understood my ways,
And accepted me for me.

You were the only person,
Who could  see the soul...

Behind the dull blank eyes,
Of another wounded child.

A celebration! Whoever it is, I hope they stay with you forever in your heart.

It's a lovely write. We forget how much we affect others lives. How simple words that mean nothing to us can be so powerful when heard by others. My mind is going to be stuck on this for awhile. thank you toxic.

Feels so familiar. To be around someone who makes you feel like you actually exist is something you dont experiance too often. Lucky are the ones that do. Nice write:)
