Bent

By purr_verse

I've tried so hard
to fit myself into the slot machine
but my penny is bent.

Someone offers
to lend me their penny
but
I
refuse.

I search
for a bent machine.

  • A former member wrote: As I scramble through what seems to be limitless brilliant pieces, this one stands out, marked as a featured work and with a simple click of a mouse I find blissful creativity. I find many different meanings in this piece, but from my own interpretation I see someone so unique that only someone with the same uniqueness would complete the puzzle. Fantastic write, so write on my friend, write on.

so I wasn't quite sure how to word myself...I just wanted to say that I really dig this piece...ha however gay that might sound, but I think it's brilliantly worded and it's almost as if you were describing the way I am and live my life...*shrugs* it could possibly not relate to me at all, but that's just the way my mind percieves it...and with that said *bookmarks*
