Zephyr Trinkets

By Alchemist

Feed you fools on the excess of shadows

Use your tools on their inadequate frame

Sing your tune to the weeping of willows

Your knife prunes the garden of the game

Whether under sovereign sun or melancholy moon

Gathering clouds and aligning stars are but souvenirs

Orchestrated by the oracle's omnipotent origami

...I also liked 'melon collie moon'. it's a trinket in itself, an eye-catcher. you should restore it to your original...

I thoroughly enjoyed this, especially the melon collie moons. I knew a girl like that once, in the back seat, real puppies by the light of the moon - but I digress. The somber tone of this speaks to a dour future, sad to say, thanks Shawn.

I spelled meloncholy like that because I had always seen it spelled mellon collie on the Smashing Pumpkins cd cover. I fixed it but I'm not sure if it is completely wrong the other way, any insight on the spelling would be helpful.
