In Gardens Of Grief.

Lover.

She sings; "Come to me,
where roses bleed and gods weep,
in gardens of grief.

Bury your heart, deep
beneath the pine's swaying reach,
and come lay in me."

...

So to her, I flee
to lay my seed, soft and sweet,
within her relief.

An',

For a time, so brief,
the world is alive and breathes
til' we fall asleep..

+--+

All that's grey is green.
an' all sown suffering sleeps,
in gardens of grief.

Absolutely beautiful piece. Every line is crisp and wonderfully crafted. The way you take the haiku form and make it entirely your own is nothing short of fantastic.

this structure is so sound and perfect that I had no idea that there was one until I read Ben's comment. You are a great writer, and you deserve to be publish and saved on many shelves. I'd love to have a book of writing from a few poets here, but yours I'd keep next to all of my metal albums and records, just because you are not of this world and your writing does not have any need to be set next to any others.

I was a bit disappointed I didn't get to read this yesterday, but I'm glad I got to. Very captivating series of senryus, the garden came to life with each one. A love so pure, as to make a garden bloom, and an expression of such affection, bringing contented rest in the end. Wondrous creation, *bows* Scholar
