Nothing Ventured...

By lupus tenebrae

I wrote of leaves, until they turned
and embers in their dying glow,
for all the gumshoes in the know,
It’s nothing ventured, bridges burned,
in cases of what they have learned
when buckling, and seeing grace
in contrasts that they can’t discern
and poetry that’s out of place.
