an ode-to the potted fern

By Malice In Wonderland

I've been thinking
again

and it's
always

the littlest
.big. things

that really complete

every-thi.ng

those quiet corners
staunchly keeping us together
the reliable and.unrelenting
beauty

in orange magenta
fireball rising

May I call you Ra?
my dearest

because it's only when
we.close the shades

isolated and alone
when the cold.creeps in
and the corners.blend together

all we can.do is
drift and float
in crosscurrent hopefuls

waiting on baited breath
for the magenta orange morning

to fight away the dark....
