"When it Rains, in The Willows"

By soul_versing

A work inspired by Sonnets in Blood. (I suck at I Love Yous.)

When paper trails
land haunting screams,
I look to you
to mend these scaring seams.

Aging faster on the insides
that this stuffings now bruised.
...Like arsenic poisoning
the packaging
will forever be reused.

Bleed this flesh dry,
go on!
Burn it if you will
--I'll never deny,
what I felt for you was real.

So when you look to the far East,
but then find yourself staggering to the West.

Remember this,
my love,
I loved you best.

      .....................    .... .. .Rewind.

No words can touch the depth of the poem, as it extends far into the soul of anyone who eyes fall upon the lines you so expertly crafted...
