I hope you like sugar

By Phalanx

Wonder took my eyes and put them into focus
On someone, I'm so curious, I want to touch.
To feel a charge and to know something real, exists.
Your voice shouts me into sunshine pushing a ghost
To grow flesh in sunlight.
The sun does some magical things.
My branches bend to you.
I'm not sure I'd mind if you hollowed me out and built a house.
Just make room for two.
I'll crack the windows for cool air and brew some coffee and
Meet you back where it's warm, with two cups.

I'm not sure I'd mind if you hollowed me out and built a house. Best line I have read in quite some time. It lifted off the page for me, stayed a while and will stay around for the weekend. I love that I will ruminate on it... Nice write.

I don't think I can comment on this. this piece is way too perfect for it. I do have it bookmarked, though.

I instantly fell in love when I reached the end of the second line. Such a passionately sensual piece, now tugging at my heartstrings. Thank you for this, seriously, thank you. I'm left with profound images and let me tell you... My fingertips are twitching itching to write something new. --I'm totally keeping this! (((HuGs&LoVes))) Scholar
