Epic Fail
By Malice In Wonderland
The sky is brooding, today
slate grey eye
gleaming
a twisted
axis
for swirling savagery
picture shattering dissapointment
mirrors have always been the enemy
reflections
sharp
as razors soaring past
in miserable clarity
I have
regressed
into transgressions
beyond my control
bleeding into the cold silt
that speaks pine box.oppression
and my spine sings
in resignation
my steel has melted away
leaving my hair to wind through the grass like.daisies
ever
in bloom
somewhere
tidalwave torrents
creeping
finally
caught
my ever fighting legs
crushing them to.peices
These rocks reflect
my nosebleed sunset
scrawled across
the walls
like a lipstick goodbye
and my fingers have
taken root to the soil
springing new flowers
and my moss bound
lashes
are heavy
these days
they long to meet the base
of my saltwater eyes
corroded with brine and bitterness
they do not close
but sometimes,
I wish they would.

What amazing visuals throughout and the weight of it just clamped down harder and harder from each stanza to the next. Those last 3 lines say so much, I'm not sure how to give this the justice it deserves. Very nicely done :)

The sadness of this piece is washed away by its conclusion... I see it as a rebirth into something more than flesh could ever hope to be... amazing pen...

A view from the grave perhaps as we are returned to the primordial ooze from which we sprang, staring at the heavens through dead eyes, spooky!
