The Pale-Tongued Kiss*
By BeautifulCalamity
I wish I was there to show you what a masterpiece you are
...
A collection of severed limbs are the pieces that fit you in
.
I'd always dream you slipped
.
A clash of gods conflicting in my mind,
throwing steel-tongued knives at
my eagerly carved heart
"You'll Regret This, Dont Do It"
says the fire-breathed sleepwalker
..
"It Will Be Your Victory"
says the soft-settled hand of truth
..
Where am I in the midst of your metallic creation?
..I am hidden in the forest of deciphered tongue..
"That smell is Beautiful. . . smoke much?" //says I..
"Yes my dear, all the time" // says he...
there is a pit cutting deep into my missing breast,
you swooped down from the sky of black to wave your
velvet-skinned lover in front of my pride,
and in doing so you have wiped away any traces of me
[this hurts]
..Light it..
Flames rises like the tears used to birth in my eyes,
you swell me like a weaver casting out needles to the homeless.. gives
them hope anyways.
I am your quilt, Make me my own
Light it, Light the flame burn into its scent.
Watch it fill the night air it never could before
...
Light it, light it please
.I need you.
tell me: "I need you, you're all I want"
But, I can code your music. .
You'll be long gone in time
I deserve it, I'll pass to death knowing I deserved it..
{my lips look like your cancer}
I want tenderness Not you

O fair moaner, Could you ever love me?
Let me decorate your face with a chant of my own blood. .
[a true romantic]
You cannot say you've come to thrust. . .
thrust yourself into the hot outer science concerning the chemical heart
...
Safety keeps these words from falling as they take a chance to part from
the arms of a mother. .
The minister? The author? The minority?
Connect me to the prism reflecting of you and your
beautiful high. .
I could say "love me", but I prefer to keep my heart
in it's own place of trust.
Hell, even if the Heavens ever existed. .
A pit, a hole in the dead earth.
Moments like forever end in hours,
dreams span decades and are gone in
an instant..
this motivates me to try harder because I'll never have it..
penetrate deep into the bowels of my religion,
and sacrifice your soul in memory of those
strong whispers. .
they keep me on the path to forever
[forever]
Boundless and loving it cause tomorrow
holds the chance for chance
.for chance for chance.
I emptied my palms into your mouth
like a lover would
...
.light it again.
I want this and I motion my eyes to you
by rubbing them with razors. .
my hands tired, focused dead on to the bloated summers
. . .
close my blinking sight with the lifting of your hand
. . .
make the sunrise dance point-toed on the edge of a building
. . .
tear out cement and what will become of your statue
. . .
.sleep.
.sleep.
close your eyes and sleep
.leave me dying.

The construction of your poems are unique. Apart from the decoration that I don't like. But brilliant.
