This Grand Stage

By Alchemist

Life is a stage
A part in a play
In a crowded theater
That starts today

A vast experience
You become immersed
Involved, a villain
A hero, a victim

Beyond that even
You experiment
You trumiph, you lose
You die, regenerate again

You backslide to a ladder
A new taste, a new fragrance
In a stagnant trance
Through a ratty resilience

A glance in the fold
A rise in the fall
Philosophy of a blind soul
Memories are what make you whole

We learn form experience, trial and error, good thing we remember or we'd all be nuts doing the same thing over and over again. All actors on the grand stage of life - Shakespeare I think, thanks Shawn.
