Burnt Shadows
By Alchemist
When time changes
The stones gather dirt
And the mountains shadow ranges
When shadows show dirt
The stones gather changes
And the mountains horizon is burnt
When time is shown on horizons
And the stones gather on ranges
Mountains are pebbles to the shadow of the raven
So when the raven pecks at pebbles
The stones gather as dirt from the mountains
This is when time changes the horizon to burnt shadows

There is an Aesop's Fable about the raven and the pitcher of water with the narrow neck. He dropped pebbles inside to raise the water level and get a drink. Enjoyed this re-arranging and fluidly shape-shifting piece, but gave up near the end and just let it take me. Thanks Shawn!
