I Dreamed of You

I dreamed of you the other night
And how I wished to be
That I was resting in your arms
And you were holding me

You told me that you loved me so
That I would be okay
My demons would soon let me go
And they would stay away

And as you rose, I shed a tear
Releasing all my pain
You pushed my cloud away from me
And held me once again...

...I woke up with a smile today
But for the night I wait
If I should dream of you again
I do not want to wake...
