Seeing Leaves
By Malice In Wonderland
I kissed a girl
once
ran my tongue
tenatively across her cupids bow mouth
sliding my hands through
the silken fall of her hair
stricken in awe
by the shock of her skin
electric with curiosity.
and I stood on tiptoe
with her curve of her chin in my hands
shading the light
we'd captured
like fireflies in the dark

Very sweet poem. I've stumbled on two sweet poems back to back. I'll quit while I'm a head. JD

I've kissed a girl once too... Needless to say, I liked it. We sure know how to get to the point when we want something. ...dammit, I smudged my lip-gloss. :/ Bows-
