Afflicted

By Nehema

Destroyed

Utterly

The desire
Still alive

Can't escape
Don't wanna try

Afflicted
Unscripted
Conflicted
Predicted
Addicted
Restricted

Laughing at my

Nievity
Brevity
Levity

Fool me once...

To lost
To be shamed

Hoping to be

Reclaimed
Defamed
Unrestrained

...blamed...

Emotion so strong
How can it be wrong

Craving
His song

Slaving
Engraving

My heart

Raving
Braving

Knowing
Caving

To him I belong

And the rhymes enhance the rhythm in a delightful way. Succinct and straight to the point. A very nice read, many thanks for sharing.
