Psalm 666

By Zyrnuvex

Yea thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of regret

I shall fear no darkness

Nor any death

Nay will I heed the whispers

And promises

Of painlessness and forget

As the claws of insanity

Grip ever tighter

Wanting to hold me forever

In a dark, bloody embrace

I shall fear no darkness

Nor any death

May I find the strength

To fight to my dying breath

May it not come by my hand

May I turn the darkness in my soul

Promises of painlessness and forget

Lies of a turbulent mind

I shall fear no darkness

Nor any death

I shall feed upon truth, not lies

And burn these lines in my mind

I shall fear no darkness

Nor any death
