that's been dormant too long?
(eyes that decline
poetic charades)
convince me that
if I traveled for a thousand
years
to a thousand star systems
I would not find a woman like
you
nor a magic like this
show me that promises can be
made of iron
dreams don't crumble like dandelions
and that anyone

can love again
kiss me, but carefully -
I was cursed with a heart
that is not unbreakable
so
come on
