shattered.
my mirror reflects
the state of being
so much more than physical
spiderweb strands
of sticky confusion
I stand mute and helpless
ensnared by sapphire
smiling orbs
and
quiet smiles
two peas
in the pit
(because, pods are so dull and.claustrophobic anyhow)
silken clad
wearing like your favorite tophat
in teardropped tea parties.
lily petaled pouts
and salted tears
the crumpets taste of arsenic and regret
powdered suger Im.perfectioned
whispered 'I love yous' frozen
on waxen lips
stonehearted and cold
the night sky reminds
me
of all
that we
could
never
be
