Distance

By Malice In Wonderland

Its half a sleeping pill
And a glass of wine past bedtime
I
Twisted my ankles
On your roots
Twining my heart
In
Velvet shackle

You were
Smoke rings
Bridging the distance
But
I was always more kin to the ashes,
scattered in the breezes

But surrounded
by whispy filigree
Unwilling to part.

My favorite thing about this is how quiet it feels. It has the lulling feel. I've always loved your writes.

This is magic. This depths beyond my understanding. This is the back of my hand. I adore you.
