Playing Arrhythmias on a Violin.

By Malice In Wonderland

I think I was a labyrinth,
once upon a time
twisted and gnarled
aching fingers
collapsed around a heart of stone
writhing across a treeless landscape
littered by the ashes
of exoskeleton existance
and
stuck in a place
that could never really be
bleeding dandelions between brick and scorched earth
draught ridden and poisoned
presided by pestilence
a moonlight maze
only moved by the thunderstorms soaking through
barren sands
blistered and indescreet
ripping passerby to shreds
soaking the life from their lacerations
bring breath to the sands
only to see them blow away
with the winds.

I love the title, love. I also love how you bend and twist complex ideas and emotions into a sentiment piece. Some times the lack of perfection we search for deep within us lies dormant, until that life is breathed into is. ♥I love you to pieces♥ Scholar
