Freedom of choice is so important
Getting to pick and choose
With the attitude of I can't lose

Lost in the state of conformity

Wanting to be the authority

Trying to impress the majority

Never was my style

Prefer societies rejects
Cream of the crop 
intellectual prospects

But secretly only the one's
that like the taste 
of my boot
on their face

Real and raw 
never accused 
of being mild

I'd rather be true,
and wild

i'll raise one foot out of my dreams grave,
walking past the others looking at the enemies i've made, 
keep singing to myself my own songs of disbelief, 
trying to take a part back but only got a piece, 
their eyes stare but cannot bare,
to hand out the medication when 
they have enough to spare, 
I wear this tattoo as a scar from when my life was complete, 
but now I can't bring myself to eat, 
sleep or even walk down the street.

Like the loser said down the hall, 
Life was never meant to be a ball, 
masquerading as a happy jester, 
laughing while the scars fester. 
Alone at the end of the day, 
looking back at the bullshit we all say, 
to make us feel connected to the next person in line, 
when in reality couldn't care less 
what's happening outside my own mind

I've felt a thousand needles through word, 
I can't explain everything i've heard, 
but the touch and the explanation didn't quite set the celebration, 
I fell off the table during my examination, 
cracked open my head and needed an operation, 
this labotomy doesn't help much, 
when they all do the same stuff, 
again and again, 
a wide eyed expression until the very end, 
I can still see their jaded wings, 
I can still hear the faded sing and 
I still get that memory when I smell the spring

Insanity tends to eat my mind, 
with memories and ideas unrefined, 
having trouble trying to decide, 
what's real and what's petrified. 
Mental soup that tastes like cream, 
locked away in a caustic dream, 
soaked up with an infernal scream. 
Leave me in my jungle gym, 
singing hysterical childhood hymns, 
until I break off these plastic limbs
