Curbstomp.

By Malice In Wonderland

rain
pours
like the frail
tapping
of junkie nails.on busted concrete

blistered
and bleeding
we crept on sheets
of blackened ice

skirting
the apex
of solar
storm
infatuation

brushing leadened lips
behind opened palms
and closed hearts

straining
glossified
glass doll pupils
screaming in shades
of blue flame aria
my ashen lips

crumble at the touch

necrosis lined fingertips
drawing wicked redline
convictions
across a sunken crater chest
playing over rib bones like a xylophone

dressing poison tongued
in tigerlily lullabye

the knife sticking out of your chest
is only a further testament

of
love and sanity

This was well deserved, my darling. Your Eric pieces are still my favorite, but lort. This one reminds me of empty aching.

'is only a further testament / of / love and sanity' - killer finisher; such evocative and haunting images portrayed in this. The metaphor is your bitch.

I've missed your writing, immensely. There's so much desolation here. Beautiful.
