.

she was once so much cooler
unmoving sometimes
frozen from the inside out
even standing amidst
a wildfire of emotions

someone chipped away the ice
it held everything in perfectly

.

she thawed slowly
melted under the softest of assaults
now she can't seem to stop
tears flow too easily
feeling everything

she curses herself for weakness
drowning from her own heart
