Loupe garu in all of us but you have 'captured' something important here...would you really let it in? Bravo purr_verse!

This delves much deeper, grasping the core of something much more sinister, something seething and searching and smarter than an animal should be. An excellence of chaos, this.

stunning....your work gets more and more complex...funny you would name it Lupercal, isn't that some kind of roman festival or God?...

  • purr_verse On Sunday, January 11, 2004, purr_verse (1052)By person wrote:

Thank you! its literal meaning is "carnival of wolves." Yes, it's Roman, derived from their honouring of Lupercus (Pan). :) purr, metaphoric again

  • A former member wrote: You know...everytime I see a new work I jump for joy. I really enjoy reading you that much. This did not let me down. The wording...the staccato rhythm. All just simply fantastic. I was breathing hard by the time I was done reading this...

  • A former member wrote: 'teeth and tongue and mindseye vivid rend within erotic livid brilliant-twisted-aether-misted' Wow! What can I truely say about this line that is not already painted from your breath & brush. Bravo!

  • A former member wrote: 'distorted sense aborted !door! contorted rhythms' These are my feelings exact; senses aborted & distorted w/ your contorted rhythms beautifully layered in rapture, rape & reinvention of the poet's purrfect pen...now now now now

Wow purr this was so staccato with imagery it really portrayed a frantic state of mind, well done there. I hope I'm reading it right, and if I am I'd have to agree that I have a few wolves I'd like to let in, regardless of my duty to ward them off. Mayb

Maybe there is some duality in this, like coming to terms with yourself, or perhaps not but I guess it's open for interpretation. As always this is written like an absolute pro, and I would KILL to hear it recited. Excellent.

  • A former member wrote: I've seen so many romanticisms of vampyre on this site, it is a breath of fresh air to see one with your talent take the case to the wolves...
