The view

I heard you calling
calling from the other side
other space
darkness

Star bright
a river flows
hope flows
a fiery liquid
lit with yellow sunbright golds
...glittering scales

We meander
up and down
cascading notes falling
spiralling like water
- like fate
a weighted bias current
it glistens
clear, clean, sharp

I stand lean
taut
waiting to bite into the world
taste the life
the sweetness dripping from this landscape
a bluesness, a red, pink, purple
...a blossom

Sipping the tender taste
of fresh new hearts
inside the core sweetness of a bud
Here the fresh infinite space
is encompassing
...a coolness of blue aether

My hand reach now
into the air
I push the river currents
I throw stones to tempt the water
to leap out and touch me
in diamond-sharp, glistening pieces

Hold me
unfold me
lead me to see new lands
greens, blues, all colors, tastes...
Lead me to the end
to a new beginning
- to the highest places

Inside
Wings rustle with feathers
wide and white
Fire sparks with movement
they open to take in the light
folding and bending like a flame
waiting to eat up a page, a book
to eat up the dry earth
to expand in colors

The films go on
my life winds in and out of them
I cycle under the burnt, reflecting night-sky
with the occasional glimpse of a star

The chaos, the thrill, the life
the numbness...

I will push it
make it hurt
make it feel
squeeze it
to get out the last drop
the last hope
last joy

I will cause the fire
I will jump on it
ride it
confront it
make it charge and roar
make it shake me
tempt it to break me...

I reach out
to that moving, exciting place
where nothing is stuck and rotting
where things can grow
a place where I can see the view

I have to see the view

this pulled me in like a whirlpool, immersed my mind in such vivid and intense colors and feelings, flowing with a steady strength.... beautiful and delightfully oxygen stealing...
