Do Not Rescusitate

By Malice In Wonderland

The winds will crush us all

Stealing breath and balance
Scattering
tattered semblences of
surreality

Swept away in
violent vortex
Ill.intentioned |innocence

We fed the fires
of indescretion
held its beating hearts in our throats
Kissed the temples
of our closest demons

Caressing coastline calamity
we skipped rocks
into the outer realms of Anubis
tilting the scales
of deciding fate

your fingers wearing the silk of my blood
like a wedding dress
tasting of iron and cherries

I wore your consciense around my neck like a gilded collar
twisted and and delicate

we whispered an errant hail mary
and our fingers caressed the palms of unknown infinities and we climbed until the stars faded from view
fiery footholds
and forgotten wishes

We boarded the faerie wings
bound for home

it was

only then
we noticed
the true meaning
of a one way ticket
