Dark Knight
By SilentStalker
I walk the path, my sword in hand
I'm out to find the Holy Man
He's done such good it sickens me
But with my strength he shall
not be
I find a town and ask his name
But every time,
I get the same
"He's not here, fiend, now go away"
And every
time, I make them pay
Twenty towns I've destroyed to date
To show them all my immense hate
I wish to see his painful cry
I want to see him slowly die
Our paths are crossing very
soon
The prophets read it in the moon
His God has sent him
on my trail
I worry not; I will not fail
He's heard
my deeds; he wants me dead
The King will pay to have my head
He's gathered forces, large and strong
I lay in wait; it won't
be long

This strikes me as a bit childish. Some of the rhymn scemes are a little obvous and sometime sound contrived. -pxc

...glad you picked that off; I'm surprised no one else caught it...this was one of the first times I used this scheme, and my descriptions weren't my best at the time...so I agree; this is nowhere near my favorite work...

Aahaha This would make a wonderful lyric for a Power Metal band :) It's beautiful, but hey, you already know you are talented :) Glad you posted it back where it belongs...
