By lupus tenebrae
A crayon; orange wax
unbroken in its brindled
sheath, lonely, vibrant in
the
road-
side
grey.

Before reading the story behind your inspiration, I could already see myself walking along the roadside to come to find an orange crayon on the ground. The writing took me to the place as if I were there and I thought to myself "maybe this was thrown out a car window". Nicely done.

All the imagery that came from this short piece was brilliant. It is almost similar to seeing the good, in a dark, cruel world.

Great minimalist piece, I love the visual of the orange offset against the grey. Ciao, T/S
