Creamy, White, in Secret

By lupus tenebrae

Little box of secrets, coloured creamy white,
buried end to ending in an effervescent night
lexicon of moments came to living in a verse,
cozier in feeling, all the happiness we’ve nursed

reached to find a bosom, found its way inside,
read its cover’s knitting, in the bed in which it lied,
found its curtain calling, in a simple little rhyme
a classicist had written with a word before its time.

Also, "Not bad" is a pretty crappy comment. You should read up on how to comment without insulting others. There's a link for that, right, Darun?

...if we're gonna start complaining about "not bad" being insulting, we might as well moderate half the comments off the site for being two words...slow your roll, chica, and let the author make that call...last I checked, they can delete their own comments if they dislike them... :D Scholar

If you're insinuating what I think you are, let me put your mind at ease. My work is, always has been and always will be genuine. Now, some of the lines are bound to seem familiar; there are only so many words in the English language that make sense together without sounding like a discordant mess. I assume you're new here, so here's some friendly advice; perhaps you should read a little more into someone before making a baseless accusation. I encourage you to read more of my work though, it too is genuine, and much better than this contrived little thing. I'm still a little buzzed from earlier, so, correct me if I misinterpreted your comment. Scholar
