Better a Widow than a Divorcée? (poem)

By BetaWolfinVA

The loneliness is crushing me,
making me break
you found out the truth, found the pain
please let me go
-
i hate feeling this way, alone
abandoned, lost
the games aren't enough any more
please set me free
-
i want someone to watch shows with
write poems for
cuddle up on the love seat with
hold in my lap
-
we lost these things along the way
don't blame raven
blame me, my lonely poets soul,
vulnerable
-
am i supposed to let your bland
indifference
kill my heart and soul just so that
you won't be left
-
when my soul goes, so do i "dear"
i refuse to
kill part of my self again "dear"
just for you "dear"
-
i hate feeling this way, alone
abandoned, lost
the games aren't enough any more
please set me free
-
The loneliness is crushing me,
making me break
you found out the truth, found the pain
please let me go
