Anti-climatic Hamster Wheel of Doom
By Malice In Wonderland
it's
one if those days
again
it seems
pointless pleasantries
rolling endlessly off stiffened tongues
tasting of leadened lethargy
fatigue riddled hands
that shake of frazzled nerves and hopelessness
another day another dollar
literally
We wonder
idly at times
at the unseeing eyes
watching
us, the rodents in a cage
it's almost as if the laughter
is palpable
if not misunderstood
circles
are redundant
you know
