how to lose patience
By lupus tenebrae
I.
I’m tired
of abstract
movie midnight
features, nothing in particular,
and blue Formica
countertops
blend in with all the colours.
II.
I’m hurt,
that I’ve spilled out all the popcorn
in hulls
of jagged judgment,
and I can’t express my sorrow,
so tomorrow
cannot come.
III.
I’m right
and wrongful
at the same time,
in arguments of chess games
played by me,
myself and eyebeams,
such bitter self-defeating.

My first attempt at list form, with a title alteration. I did get it right with the next two though.Comments on "how to lose patience"

Self-realization makes for great writes because it allows you to dig deeper into your mindset. I actually enjoyed reading this.

I've spent time within these metaphors before and never quite figured out how to break such cycles. Or to grasp whatever that "something more" is that is ever elusive. Interesting format and perspective.
