Snow Capped Tulips
By lupus tenebrae
Sometimes,
the mistrust in friends
is like splinters
on wooden tulips
and all of
the
pre-twilight’s
every unanswered
prayer, sent upon heartbeats.
What more can you say
by the light
of neon courage?
Not much, in sign language.
Through changed venues
I
heard you say;
“Let’s talk of games instead,
and
snow capped galaxies
far away from here.”

This was surprisingly captivating. So far in the past for me but so fresh.

There is no greater pain than that of a black hole between family members.
