Of Lace and Solder
By lupus tenebrae
Dragonflies and accusations
suffer summers,
misconstrued,
enlaced with every tinge of solder.
Youth
pervades a jutting hill
like thorns and thistles sharpening the
dragonflies and accusations.
Sympathy for enemies
with
veins of barbs and twisted wire
suffer summers, misconstrued.
Carry this apology
on the edge of razor windmills,
enlaced
with every tinge of solder.

Crypticly cognitive. Love the structure and the style. The reiteration of lines makes this feel like it will bloom each year only to be crushed or rushed under foot.

Barb wire veins sound almost plausible and does conjure up a unique image, as does the razor edged windmills (envision a food processor perhaps! - HA). This was great as usual and much enjoyed, thanks Wolfie.
