can you hear me?

By diavolessa

I will die
There is no point in crying over the bloody color of the sky
worthless waking up the feelings of a clock
I fell, I fell a long time ago
big and heavy, piercing, wounded
with an enormous red tear, only I could see
piercing was the fall, loud and painful
Nameless was the fall
I fell over this land, I fell…

No one saw where the scream went
nobody heard it
nobody knows where it ends
where my scream screams for help.
I am surrounded by youth
tendencies, power.
I see your hand trying to catch on
beautiful, merciless, imploring
but I have fallen, I am vanishing
Under my freezing body
I can only care about my scream
as I will die

Can you hear me?

One can never be followed into that feeling, great piece as so many agree! Missed your works, you tell things in the most perfect ways.

I absolutely love the opening four lines. This is a great piece, and lots of other people have already said so, so...I'll just add my name to the roll-call too.

This felt absolutely apocalyptic. Scary in that way...sad, but remorseless like this is the way it has to be because there is no other way. I likes...~JMDW~

I feel fortunate to have found this work of yours. The words feel so heartfelt and the emotion so robust. The falling theme tends to be cliche, but this piece somehow took it into another direction. The title idea is brilliant.

Sounds like an echo for help.....I really was trapped into the whole concept of the poem....death makes us selfish and dependable at the same time..Very great read.

death is something we all try to capture at times. it seems you've done a very good job at doing that here.

WOW intense poem every single line was so painful to read. I keep reading this over and over again. "where my scream screams for help." I keep having visions of this horrifying scream. Dam. I love your poetry. Yet again another favorite. Thanks. ~P.B~.
