holographic pokémon cards.
By Star
Dear whoever reads this, (secretly I hope it's you)
Remember
I am I,
and you are you...
We are different, we are opposites,
and I have loved your bluish-green eyes, the day we met.
Now our memories we had together
is like hardened cement on
our walk path to the forbidden future.
Do you remember
when you gave me
my first kiss, smearing makeup on my lips?
The way you tasted was like honeysuckle cologne and smoke,
from the cigarette you inhaled.
Held me with your
tan colored flesh.
Drowning me in,
your nonexistent
love.
We used to sit on the porch,
reminiscing our
scratches and stitches like they were holographic pokémon cards.
Looking at our picture at night,
helps me get to sleep.
'Cause I know you loved me once.
Sincerely, Me.
