Where Alpha and Omega Meet

By Phalanx

Living so close to death I count more than time.
I watch gentle moments shared, between drones.
The people we thought we were before it all fell down.
I say kill me gently but, I still don't want to die.
No one really wants to die,

They just want the hurt to stop.

To find breathe and believe they're alive.

This is the human condition for lack of exact words.
I wish I had better.

To believe in someone else, other than God,
To love.

Love is the greatest gift He left behind and,

I can't hate Him for it.

God and I agreed to see other people, but we still talk from time to time. Thank you for this. I wish I had more to say, but, the piece says it all.
