tall tales.

By Mirror Mirror

The lies he whispers
Imbeds on his foul tongue
[he tasted so sweet]

The sounds of a broken record
Plays over and over
In my head
I hear his voices
Telling tall tales

Emerald green eyes of jealousy
Pierces into my soul
In fright I try to bury my heart
Deep within
A place he’ll never find

The words he speaks
So far convinced, twisted and entangled
[no more]

Release me, release me now
This chain of fear
Pulls me down leisurely
Into this black pool
In some distant realm

Bruises painted on my face
Crimson ribbons lying on my wrists
Burning tears that trickle down
Has he not done enough?
My lonely soul wanders

The ways of his lying cheating tongue
Has crawled up inside my ears
[go away]
