For You, Wherever You May Be...
By Melankolia
Inequality is a condition,
Much like strength is a curse.
We ride the waves of errant downfall
When we base our attitudes upon these.
Have you ever turned your uplifted face to the Sky?
Felt her embrace your skin with jagged clearsight?
Or the forest's ephemeral gaze
Beyond the twilight clearing?
The stars were placed for you, the night splendor revealed,
Taking shadowy refuge above the firmament.
Breathing deep the icy resolve of Sky,
And reach of diamond law.
First lays course of Sun.
Second lays truth of Night.
Third is the mete of dynasty,
Where all is finally revealed.
So begins this quest of thought,
Internal expectation and outward flux.
Through the wrinkles in time we navigate,
The wall shudders in truth's wake.
This is the beginning of truth,
Or rather, the end of Lies.
Taking refuge under my crown of grief,
You are the one who must continue...
For your course is the promised turn,
Chasing the triumphant Sun and Star.
Towards the gate of heaven,
You will endure forever...

My thanks for your time, and for your positive thoughts. This one, I find, is nothing more than remnant essence of a dream, the trails left in twilight's wake... :)
