rainbows in the dark.

By Dei

I tried drowning in a wishing well hoping to find an extra one laying some where
Under Lincoln's heads. Your searching hands and charming grin is what I found instead.

You pointed up and pointed out the stars and how they sing, always sweeter when
We notice them. Count out the pennies. Copper ammunitions, (for sling shot wishes)
And aim for their thoughts. Perhaps this time they'll answer us with pearls.
Some wise, and some not. But we'll save them no matter what. We'll hide them
In our pockets next to hoarded blown kisses we thought we had lost.

Have you ever smiled quite this much? And was that the moon I saw in your eye
Or is this light a bridge formed between our hearts,

Tonight, Let's get carried away and let our souls make rainbows in the dark.

Rainbows in the dark sounds quite steamy - water vapor rising with its warmth, in the cool night air, and only the moonbeams to split the color spectrum, cheers!

And that smile, and moon in the eye was all one could need... Lovely deep, rainbow wishes thanks :) Scholar

You know, at the end of the rainbow, all the wealth will be worthless by then...might as well have some fun while you're at it...chasing the wishes, magic, & dollars. Good write for the soul, AD.
