Me[chanical] Mind

By elisa

the Mechanical Mind
marches on...

steady and pure
the pattern repeats

00110001001110010011100000110100

sledge hammer stamped faces
fixed with stainless steel eyes

the daily grind carving away
any personal effect

life pronounced digitalized and dead
by the sterilized execution of static

the constant tone drone; feet forward
single file thoughts

the spirit is gone
but the body suffers
the memory of loss
